Overview
An overview of the Cogniquix workspace
Cogniquix is a hosted workspace that holds the four pillars of everyday company coordination together, and adds assistants and connections so that routine steps take care of themselves. This page explains how the parts fit and how a team usually gets started.
The idea
Fewer places to look, fewer things to forget
A company of thirty people rarely needs a grand transformation. It needs the small, repeated acts of coordination to stop leaking. Who owns this? What did we decide? Where did the hours go? Has the new colleague been added to the right team? When those questions have quick, trustworthy answers, a business feels calm even in a busy week.
The workspace answers them in one place. Projects, conversations, timekeeping and the people directory share the same clean design and the same simple permissions, so moving between them feels like turning a page rather than switching tasks. The platform is hosted for you, which means there is no server to look after and no maintenance window to plan around.
How it fits together
Four pillars, two helpers
The four pillars are the places your team works. Project workspaces hold plans and their history. Team conversations hold discussion and decisions. Timekeeping records effort. The people directory describes who is who. Around them sit two helpers: assistants that draft, summarise and remind, and automations that carry a well-understood routine from one place to another.
Every pillar can be used on its own from the first day, and every pillar becomes more useful as the others fill in. A team that begins with conversations can add projects when the first plan outgrows a thread. A team that begins with projects can add timekeeping when it wants to understand its own weeks.

Getting started
A first week that does not overwhelm
We suggest a gentle beginning. An administrator invites the first handful of colleagues and sets their roles. One team brings a single live project across and uses it for real work. Conversations follow naturally, and timekeeping is switched on for that team alone. By the end of the first week, the value is usually obvious enough that the rest of the company asks to join.
From there, connections can be added one at a time. Each connection is visible to administrators, can be paused, and never touches a colleague's personal device. The goal throughout is a workspace that supports the way your company already works, rather than a new set of habits to learn.
What hosted means
Managed for you, reachable from anywhere
Hosted means the workspace is looked after on your behalf. There is nothing to maintain on a colleague's machine, no server in a cupboard to update, and no maintenance you have to plan around. Your team reaches the same current version of the workspace wherever they happen to be working, on whatever device they choose to use.
Updates arrive quietly and never ask your team to do anything. When a change is significant, we tell administrators in advance and explain what it means. That balance, always current and never disruptive, is a large part of why a company can bring its work across without pausing the ordinary rhythm of its day.
