Cogniquix Operational workspace

Legal

Privacy Policy

Cogniquix Inc. respects the privacy of the companies and people who use our workspace. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have. Effective date: 2026.

Scope

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the hosted workspace operated by Cogniquix Inc. and to this website. Where a company uses our workspace, that company is the controller of the work content its teams create, and Cogniquix acts on the company's instructions as a processor. For the details a company keeps about itself and its colleagues, the company decides how they are used and to whom they are shown.

When you visit this site or send us an enquiry, Cogniquix is the controller of the information you provide, such as your name, your work email and your message. We use that information only to answer you and to improve our service.

Categories

What we collect

  • Account details for colleagues, such as name, role, team and work email.
  • Content created in the workspace, such as projects, conversations and time entries.
  • Technical information needed to run the service, such as sign-in records and device type.
  • Enquiry details you send us through the contact and plans pages.
  • Cookie information as described in our Cookie Policy.

We collect this information for clear purposes: to provide the workspace to your company, to keep it secure, to understand how it is used so that we can improve it, and to answer your enquiries. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Your rights

Rights under US and EU law

If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request a copy, to ask us to correct or delete it, to opt out of any sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We will confirm your request and respond within the time the law allows. If your request concerns content inside a company's workspace, we may need to pass it to that company, because the company controls that content. You can read more on our Do Not Sell or Share page.

Retention and security

How long we keep information, and how we protect it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or as the law requires. Workspace content is kept for as long as your company uses the service, and companies can request an export or removal of their data at any time. We protect information with role-based access, strong authentication and regular backups, and we limit access to colleagues who need it to do their work.

We do not transfer personal information outside the regions where we operate without appropriate safeguards, and we require our suppliers to meet the same standards we set for ourselves.
