Trust and Security
Trust and security at Cogniquix
Companies share real work inside Cogniquix, so the workspace is built around clear permissions, careful handling of data, and honest communication about what we do and why.
Access
Everyone sees exactly what they should
Access is governed by roles. An administrator grants a colleague the role that matches their work, and the workspace shows them only what that role allows. Teams can keep their own spaces private; projects can be opened to specific people; company-wide notices are read by all and written by few. When someone leaves, an administrator removes their access, and the record of the work they did stays in place without them.
Sign-in is protected by strong authentication, with support for single sign-on so that a company can use the same secure entry it uses elsewhere. Sessions can be reviewed and ended, and every sensitive change is written to a log that administrators can inspect.
Data
Held with care, kept in your control
Data is held in the workspace on your company's behalf and is never sold. Customers can request an export of their company's data at any time, and can ask for it to be removed when they leave. Backups are taken regularly so that the record survives an accident, and routine handling follows the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
- Role-based access for every colleague and every space.
- Strong authentication, with optional single sign-on.
- Regular backups and a clear path to export or remove data.
- Logs of sensitive changes that administrators can review.
Reliability
A workspace you can plan around
The workspace is operated with the expectation that companies depend on it during their working day. Routine maintenance is scheduled outside normal business hours, and administrators are told in advance when it will happen. When something does go wrong, we say so plainly and explain what we are doing about it, rather than staying silent.
We describe our practices in plain language and avoid promises we cannot keep. Where a claim needs support, we would rather understate it than overstate it, because the trust of a company that relies on us is worth more than a bold sentence on a marketing page.
Honesty
No claims we cannot stand behind
You will not find dramatic promises on this site. We do not claim to be perfect, and we do not claim results that depend on factors outside our control. What we offer is a carefully built workspace, honest documentation, and a team that answers when you write to us. If something about security or handling of data matters to your decision, tell us, and a person will explain how it works.
When things go wrong
Plain communication, no silence
No service is perfect, and the measure of one is how it behaves when something goes wrong. If an incident affects your workspace, we tell administrators promptly, describe what we know at the time, and explain what we are doing about it. We would rather share an early, partial picture than leave a company guessing.
Afterwards we look at what happened and change what needs changing, and we are willing to say what we learned. That honesty is not a marketing position; it is simply the only sensible way to run a workspace that other businesses depend on during their working day.
